The Opportunity

The Billing Support Specialist will be responsible for resolving billing support queries that come in via phone, email, and chat systems. You will also conduct comprehensive bug reports and test applications. Candidates should possess ample initiative and keen judgment skills while working with a multi-functional team including support, accounting, and product developers.

The Responsibilities

  • Provide billing support to SharpSpring’s global customer base
  • Respond to cases in our support ticketing system in a timely manner and manage pending cases while maintaining high quality of support
  • Assist the support team in resolving customer disputes
  • Help maintain the company’s billing system
  • Update accounts receivable records for new accounts and missed payments
  • Improve efficiencies in the billing process
  • Communicate customer feedback to the product management team to improve the product
  • Assist with the dunning process and soliciting collections

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience supporting customers in a business environment- preferably in a billing capacity
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written and active listening; able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
  • Results driven
  • Ability to manage workload based on changing priorities
  • Strong analysis design, documentation, problem-solving, and organizational skills
